International Day for Plant’s Health- Why we Should Protect the Health of our Crops

The nourishment and good health of crops is fundamental to the food on our tables. However, it faces numerous environmental hurdles in the field. These include assaults from harmful insects, fungi, and other diseases, compounded by the challenges of extreme weather conditions. There are some studies that reveal that a significant portion that is ranging from 20% to 40%, of annual crop losses stem from poor plant health attributed to inadequate management of pests and diseases.
